Reepham Business Network - Special Speaker Event - An Insight into BBC's "The Apprentice"

The Reepham Business Network is a breakfast club that meets fortnightly in Reepham. They have a particularly special speaker coming to their next meeting – Claire Young who was a finalist in the BBC’s The Apprentice a few years ago. She’s gone on to inspire businesses and promote entrepreneurship amongst young people throughout the UK. She is making a short visit to Norfolk and will be taking time out to share her thoughts on business success with the group.

The breakfast (just bacon rolls, pastries, juice, tea and coffee) will be held on Thursday 26 January. It starts at 7.30 am and will be at the Old Brewery House Hotel, Reepham.

Reepham Chamber's Projects 2011

Following a vote by business leaders throughout the Reepham Area, the Chamber has selected three projects on which to concentrate its efforts over the coming year. The projects chosen are:

• Faster Broadband: This involves campaigning for a high speed broadband link for Reepham, in readiness for future internet traffic demands in order to ensure that Reepham businesses can remain competitive in the future and to attract new businesses to the town.
• Developing the Community Demand Responsive Transport programme: This involves the use of the new community minibus to enable shoppers from outlying villages to come into Reepham on a regular basis.
• Mobile phone signal: Notoriously bad in our town – could this help to increase business opportunities? Reepham business owners seem to think so!
